3V, TUNISIA
Operators Hrane/YT1AD and Ashraf "Ash", KF5EYY (SWL 3V4-002), will be active as 3V8SS from the "Radio Club Station of Tunisian Scouts" in Sousse, during the CQWW DX SSB Contest (October 27-28th) as a Multi-Op/ All-Band/Low-Power entry. QSL via LoTW or to LX1NO.

4J/4K, AZERBAIJAN
Members of the "Federation of Radio Sports of Azerbaijan" and the Safari DX Activators Club are organizing a DXpedition to the battle line of the Nagorno Karabakh area between October 25-28th. The DXpedition will use two different callsigns, 4K3K and 4J0K. Please be aware that the mentioned callsigns are only legal to operate in the assigned Nagorno Karabakh area. No other callsigns are issued for the named territory by the Ministry of Communication of Azerbaijan. Any other callsigns are considered illegal. QSL both 4K3K and 4J0K via RW6HS. 5V, TOGO (Reminder)

Andrew, G7COD, is once again active as 8Q7AK from Embudu Island on the South Male Atoll, Maldives (AS-013), for three weeks in February 2013. If like last time, this trip is a holiday and he will be active on 80-12 meters, including 30/17/12 meters using CW and SSB. AF-019. Emilio, IZ1GAR, will be active as IH9/IZ1GAR from Pantelleria Island (IIA TP-001, WLOTA 0041) between November 22-25th. In the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 24-25th), Emilio will be active as IH9R and as a Single-Op/Single Band (40m) entry. Operators Terry/KS5Z and Mike/K5KM arrived in Grenada on October 22nd, and will be operating as J38T for the CQWW DX SSB Contest (October 27-28th). Also look for J38K on 12 and 17 meters a day or two before the contests. QSL via operator's instructions.

J7, DOMINICA
Walter, HB9MFM, will once again be active as J79WTA from the Tamarind Tree Hotel near Salisbury on Dominica (NA-101) between October 26th and December 17th. Activity will be holiday style on 160-10 meters using SSB, RTTY, PSK and if possible in SSTV. He will use an IC-7000 with an ACOM 1000 into a dipole 50m above sea level and Spider Beam. KG4, GUAM (News)
"The Daily DX" reports [edited]: "Operations by Bill/ KG4WV and Ed/KG4KL are QRT due to loss of the ham shack to Hurricane Sandy which took off the roof and damaged several antennas. LATEST FROM THE REPUBLIC OF KOSOVO, Z60WW

Mission Goodwill Kosovo is an alliance of several nationalities in their mission to bring Kosovar hams back on the air after more than a twenty years hiatus. The initial Z60K activity was to launch Amateur Radio in this fledgling republic of two million people. Their Amateur Radio association (SHARK) is now fully registered and its initial member- ship is expected to reach fifty (50) this year. You may read about some of their first operators on the QRZ.com Website: Z61AJ, Z61DD, Z61DX, Z61FF, Z61VB.

Today SHARK has announced plans for their first participation in the CQWW DX Contest, as Z60WW, using two stations in the multi-two category and employing a multi-national team in addition to their own members. The station has an impressive lay-out with a good location in the capital, Pristina, using a beam antenna and two K3s with amplifiers. This is the first time for the Z6 prefix and the Republic of Kosovo will appear in any contest thus everyone is urged to update their CTY files. Usage of 80m is now allocated as of today for the first time.

Operators will be: Ali/Z61DD, Driton/Z61DX, Feti/Z61FF, Stein/LA4MIA, Martti/OH2BH, Dusan/S52DD and Teemu/SM0W.
