DXCC COUNTRY/ENTITY REPORT: According to the AR-Cluster Network for the

8P BARBADOS. Dean, 8P6SH, will be active as 8P2K during the following
upcoming contests:
  CQWW DX RTTY Contest (September 28-29th) -- Single-Op/Single-Band (80m)
  CQWW DX SSB Contest  (October 26-27th) -- Single-Op/Single-Band (40m)
  CQWW DX CW Contest   (November 25-26th) -- Single-Op/Single-Band (160m)

  Dean will be using a TS590 with phased verticals 4 dipoles. On 160m
he will use an Inverted L and RX antenna on 160m. QSL via KU9C.

AM3, SPAIN (Special Event). Members of the Mike Delta Victor DX Group
will be operating the special event station AM3WRG around the World
Roller Games in Barcelona between now and July 14th. Three special awards

CY9C ST. PAUL ISLAND DXPEDITION NEWS. The CY9C team posted the following
on their Web page (https://cy9c.com)[edited]: Seven of the 2016 DXpedtion
Team will be returning July 31st, 2019, to St. Paul Island. We hope to
fill  many of the band/mode slots still in demand and for those that
missed the DXpedition as a all time new one, we will work hard to fill
that slot as well. Lots of  EME, SAT, FT8 as well. Frequencies for their
operations on FT8:

D4, CAPE VERDE. Lukas, HB9EBT, will once again be active as D44TEG from
Tarrafal, Santiago Island (AF-005, WLOTA 0158) between July 22-29th.
Activity will be on 40-10 meters CW only using an Elecraft K3 with 100
watts into a Triple Leg antenna on a 15m Fiberglass pole and homemade
feeder line. QSL via his home callsign, direct (NO IRCs) or by the Bureau.

HAPPY 150th (Hiram Percy Maxim Birthday Celebration). The ARRL is cele-
brating the 150th anniversary of the birth of ARRL’s first president and
cofounder Hiram Percy Maxim (HPM), W1AW, born on September 2nd, 1869.
The ARRL will hold an operating event this summer to celebrate HPM’s
legacy from 0000 UTC on August 31st, and continue until 2359 UTC on
September 8th. It is open to all radio amateurs. W1AW and all ARRL members
will append “/150” to their callsigns during this event (DX operators who
are ARRL members may operate as /150, if permitted by their

HR, HONDURAS. Alan, N3AD, will be active possibly with a special HR9 call-
sign (or as HR9/N3AD) during the CQWW DX SSB Contest (October 26-27th) as
well as the CQWW DX CW Contest (November 23-24th) as a Single-Op/All-Band
entry. Before and after the contest, he will sign HR9/N3AD. QSL via W3HNK.

IOTA NEWS..............
  AS-206.  Harry, JG7PSJ, will be active as JG7PSJ/7 from Oshima Island
           (New IOTA) starting around 2200z, July 19th, until 0600z,
           July 21st. Activity will be on 40-10 meters using CW, SSB

  EU-004.  Gabriel, EA6VQ, will once again be active from Mallorca Island,
           Balearic Islands, during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th)

  EU-030.  Carsten, OZ4CG, is once again active as OZ4SOP from Bornholm
           Island, in the center of the Baltic Sea, until July 31st. He
           is active every year for the Sea Of Peace Award (For details,

  EU-075.  Konstantinos/SV8GGI will be active from Salamina Island during
           the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Single-Op/CW-Mode/
           12-HRs/Low-Power entry. QSL via LoTW.

  EU-107.  Operators Gil/F4FET and Antoine/F5RAB will be active as TM7P
           from Petite Island during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th)
           as a Multi-Op entry. They plan to be active some days before
           and after the contest weekend. QSL via F4FET.

  EU-124.  Operators Jim/M0JWB, Lyns/G0AZE, Dave/G4CXQ, Graham/G4DPH,
           Stephen/G4TBD and Warren/M7RVD will be active as MW0TSL/P
           from Caldey Island during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th)
           as a Multi-Op entry. QSL info was not provided.

  EU-131.  Several members of the ARI Mestre Team will be active as
           IQ3ME/p from Pellestrina Island during the RSGB IOTA Contest
           (July 27-28th) as a Multi-Single entry. QSL via IQ3ME, direct,

  EU-146.  Teun, PA5TT, will be active from Schouwen Duiveland during the
           RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Single-Op/CW-Mode entry.

  EU-183.  If you worked YP0H as of July 4th (activity about 30 hours),
           you worked Sacalinu Mare Island, Romania. Operators were
           Sandro/VE7NY/YO3FBK, Adrian/KO8SCA/YO8SCA and Gabi/YO8WW.
           QSL via VE7NY, direct (SASE NA 2 USDs/Europe 3 USDs) or by
           the Bureau (1-2 years).

  EU-185.  Valery, RU6DX, will once again be active as RU6DX/p from
           Sudzhuk Island during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th)
           as a Single-Op/All-Bands/Mix-Mode/High-Power entry. QSL via

  OC-133.  (Reminder) Saty, JE1JKL, will once again be active as 9M6NA
           from Mohammed's, 9M6MO, QTH on Labuan Island, East Malaysia,
           between July 7-16th. His focus will be on 6 meters FT8 (50.313
           and 50.323 MHz), and also FT8 (F/H) on 50.318 MHz. He will also
           participate in IARU HF Championship (July 13-14th). QSL via

OH0, ALAND ISLANDS (Excerpts from a press release by Wayne, N7NG, dated
July 1st). OH0C IN THE IARU RADIOSPORT -- During the IARU Contest (July
13-14th), an international team will air the callsign OH0C on all bands
using CW and SSB. Operators mentioned are: CO8DM, E21EIC, OH2BH and OH2TA
Outside of the contest they will use their personal callsigns. QSL OH0C
via E21EIC.

OJ0, MARKET REEF (Excerpts from a press release by Wayne, N7NG, dated
July 1st). Just a reminder that the Market Reef 50th anniversary cele-
brations (of its DXCC Status) is now happening as of July 6th, with
multiple callsigns and an international team. There are twenty-one valid 
J0 licenses. More than 50% are expected to be active during this year.
If you work five of them (5) in 2019, a special award will be available.
If you work ten (10) of them in 2019, you will qualify for a special
award and a symbolic key to the lighthouse. Your log extract should be
submitted to Pasi, OH3WS, the contact person between the Finnish Light-
house Society (FLS) and the global ham fraternity. Look for the stations
and operators in the coming weeks:
 OJ0A  -- between now July 10th; Ops are CO8DM, DJ9ZB, E21EIC, E20NKB,
          SM3DY, OH2TA, OH2BH and OH3JR
 OJ0B & OJ0Z -- between July 10-13th; Ops are DJ9ZB, OH2PM, PB2T and OH3JR
 OJ0C  -- between July 13-20th; Ops are OH1UBO, OH2FB, OH3UAF and OH3WS

 Additionally, the host operators will fill some slots and several odd
band/modes;  OJ0W (OH3WS), OJ0JR (OH3JR), OJ0BH (OH2BH) and OJ0MR (OG2M).

  The activations above will make eleven (11) OJ0 callsigns to hunt.

P4, ARUBA. Jaap, PA7DA, will be active as P4/PA7DA from Aruba Island
(SA-036) between October 17-31st. Activity will be holiday style on 40-10
meters using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. Jaap states, "It will be a
low-cost activation, using IC-7300 w/100 watts into a HyEndFed wire

PJ7, SINT MAARTEN. Ed, WA1ZAM/N2HX, will once again be active as PJ7PL
from the Royal Palm's a week before and a week after the CQWW DX SSB
Contest. Activity will include operations in the CQWW DX SSB Contest
(October 26-27th) as a Single-Op/Low-Power entry. Outside of the contest,
activity will be holiday style on 30-10 meters using SSB, RTTY, FT4 and
FT8 -- depending on what he brings down. QSL via N2HX or WA1ZAM.

  * Michael, G7VJR (owner of ClubLog), reported this past week the follow-
  ing change announcement: ClubLog will no longer require bureau cards to
  be offered in OQRS. This reflects the reality of modern QSLing and will
  come into effect shortly.

  KH9/N7NVK (DXCC STATUS). We had a report that someone recently submitted
  a card for KH9/N7NVK for DXCC and it was rejected for "no documentation
  received”. 

  OLD QSL COLLECTION (Update). Jean Michel, F6AJA, wants to remind every-
  one to visit the Les Nouvelles DX (LNDX) Web page to see more than
  17,100 old QSL cards in several different albums/galleries. This site
  contains:
    - The ten most wanted DXCC entities (2007 to 2018) with more than
      600 QSLs
    - At least one card for each 62 deleted DXCC countries (more than
      1900+ QSLs)
    - Nearest the totality of current prefixes, disappeared now (more
      than 5700+ QSLs)
    - Album for stations from North Africa 1945-1962 (500+ QSLs)
    - More than 1000 QSLs from the Antarctic bases.
    - With 280 QSLs from the TAAF (Terres Australes and Antarctiques
      Francaises).

SILENT KEYS..... 
  * It has been reported that Wayne, W4MPY, became a Silent Key (SK) on
    July 3rd. His wife, Lola, N4KAI passed away a year ago. Together
    they made up the "QSL by W4MPY" team for many years, and printed
    many QSL cards. 

  * Frequent participant in RTTY contests and former RTTY reflector
    moderator William R. “Bill” Turner, W6WRT, of Landers, California,
    became a Silent Key at the age of 77. Turner had been licensed since
    1957 and previously held the call signs W6PDN, WA6HKV, W7LZP, and W7TI.

T33T BANABA ISLAND DXPEDITION NEWS. The following was posted on the Rebel
DX Group Media pages on July 2nd, with several pictures [edited]: "Dom
arrived safely in Japan today. He has several meetings scheduled over the
next few days/week. Once back in Fiji and after a little more boat 'work;,
then the Rebels will be off for Banaba and T33T. We love our newest Rebel
(and our newest skull & crossbones pirate flag). And we still have an
opening for an operator if one of you DXers is interested.... 73 for now!"

T8, PALAU. Nobuaki, JA0JHQ, will once again be active as T88PB from the
VIP-Guest Hotel in Koror City, Palau, between September 6-9th. Activity
will be on 160-6 meters using CW and 6m FT8. His equipment is an IC-7300
w/TL933 amp (about 500w) into a 3 element Yagi and DP antennas. QSL via

TI9, COCOS ISLAND. The following 2020 TI9C DXpedition showed up on QRZ.com
on July 3rd. It states that the operator is Marcos (Mark), 4B4B/XE1B. No
other info was provided. Stay tuned of updates!

VK9/N, NORFOLK ISLAND (Update). Operators Jacek/SP5EAQ (VK9NE), Mek/SP7VC
(VK9NC) and Marcin/SP5ES (VK9NG) will be active from Norfolk Island (OC-005)
between October and November. All three operators will have different
lengths of stay on the island: SP5EAQ (October 18th-November 4th), SP7VC
(October 18-28th) and SP5ES (October 28th-November 4th). Activity will
be on various HF bands. Modes: Jacek/SP5EAQ (SSB exclusively); Mek/SP7VC
(Digital modes) and Marcin/SP5ES (CW). Jacek/SP5EAQ will participate in
the CQWW DX SSB Contest (October 26-27th). QSL Manager will be SP7VC
(direct, by the Bureau or LoTW). Look for more details to be forthcoming.

VP2V, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS. Kevin, K6TOP, will once again be active
as VP2V/K6TOP from Tortola, British Virgin Islands (NA-023), between
now and July 13th. Activity will be limited (family vacation) using
an ICOM 706 MKII with 100 watts into a End-Fed Half-Wave (EFHW) (for
40/30/20/17/15/10m). Operations will be CW almost exclusively. Operating
hours are typically 0000-0200z and 1000-1200z due to family commitments.
Kevin mentioned last time, "When the pileups get difficult, I listen to
the edges, so please spread your calls out." QSLs via LoTW (preferred)
or NR6M. NO Bureau cards. Log will be uploaded to LoTW and ClubLog upon
return.

WB4, UNITED STATES (Special Event). Look for special event station WB4ICJ
to be active from within the John F. Kennedy Space Center between July
14-20th. Activity is to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first
manned lunar landing in 1969. Operations will be on 80/40/20 meters using
