3D2AG/P ROTUMA DXPEDITION NEWS (dated November 15th): Antoine, 3D2AG,
reports: "The ship originally scheduled to depart Suva for Rotuma on the
23rd November has inexplicably (and at two days' notice only) been brought
forward to the 16th of November! As this is too early because of QRL and
other preparations, there will be a delay in the start of the operation.
There are a number of other options being looked at, sailing either towards
the end November or early December. News will be updated here as soon as
it comes to hand.
Focus will be on low bands including 160m, 80m and 60m, with QRO when
required. There will be NO internet access during the expedition; FT8
logs will be uploaded to ClubLog AFTER the expedition and CW/SSB/RTTY
contacts will be recorded on paper logs as customary for this OP. Efforts
are being made now to source a backup generator, fuel and pack antennas/
gear ready for the end of the month. Please note that as this is a one-op
expedition, the station may not be QRV all the time. Efforts will be made
to be active at local SR/SS and known opening times to EU, NA, SA, OC and
AS. Beware of pirates impersonating the Rotuma expedition, especially in
EU!
QSL Information: Via 3D2AG, using PayPal to address nyeurt@gmail.com
(preferred, safer)/ Direct for CW/SSB/RTTY and ClubLog OQRS (FT8/Digimodes
only). Donations welcome to assist with generator and fuel procurement
for low bands QRO operation."

frequencies, watch the QRZ.com at: https://www.qrz.com/lookup/3D2AG/P

INDEXA NEWS. Valerie Hotzfeld, NV9L, reports the following: Clicking on
the link below will permit you to download the Fall 2019 issue of the
newsletter of the International DX Association:
http://indexa.org/documents/newsletters/Newsletter-Issue-127-Fall%202019.pdf
This issue has been delayed by the sun! There just haven't been that
many DXpeditions to those entities for which we offer financial support
to fill our report pipeline. We thank Kenneth Opskar for setting some
time aside from his recently completed DXpedition to 6O7O to expedite
production of his report for us. We think you'll find the conditions he
operated under to be somewhat taxing.
You'll be excited to see a photo of Michael Wells, G7VJR, and founder
of Club Log with a new high performance server under his arm. Michael
appealed to the various foundations for support in upgrading the equip-
ment to ensure Club Log meets its future growth. Support from the Amateur
community came quickly and fully, and we are happy to say that INDEXA was
but one participant...... Now go work some DX!
