5X, UGANDA (Postponed). Shabu, M0KRI (ex-9U4RI), who was expected to be
active as 5X1RI sometime during the end of July to mid-August, has post-
posted his trip, probably for about 6 months.

8A52, INDONESIA (Special Event). Special event station 8A52PA will be
active until July 6th, to celebrate the 52th anniversary of the Indonesia
Radio Amateur Organization (ORARI). Activity will be on 80/40/20/15/10
meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8. Special Cenderawasih Award is available

9A164, CROATIA (Special Event). Members of the Radio Klub Novi Bokanjac
will be commemorating the birth (July 10th, 1856) and life of Nikola
Tesla, the great visionary who fathered not just the radio, but "the
wireless world, the man out of time, the man who was dreaming and was
dreaming correctly." Due to the COVID-19 situation, activity will not
take place in Smiljan, the birthplace of Nikola Tesla, but in Zadar.

EF4, SPAIN. Members of the URE (Unión de Radioaficionados Españoles)
will be active as EF4HQ from their HQ station during the IARU HF World
Championship between 1200z Saturday, July 11th and 1200z Sunday, July
12th. Activity will be on 160/80/40/20/15/10 meters using CW and SSB.

EV1944, BELARUS (Special Event). Look for special event station EV1944M
to be active from Minsk until July 31st. Activity is to celebrate the
75th anniversary of the liberation of Minsk and Belarus from the German

FO/A, FO/M & TX7, AUSTRAL AND MARQUESAS ISLANDS (Postponed). Lance, W7GJ,
informs OPDX of the following [edited]: Because of the ongoing COVID 19
pandemic, we regret that the W7GJ 6m EME DXpedition to FO/A and FO/M and
the KB7Q 2m EME DXpedition to FO/M must be delayed until 2021. Lodging
reservations already have been changed, and we are in the process of
revising the licensing and equipment importation authorizations. The
APPROXIMATE dates for the new DXpeditions are:
                 FO/A (6m only) - October 15-24, 2021
           FO/M (TX7MB on 2m and 6m) - October 26-November 4, 2021

INTREPID-DX GROUP NEWS (Press Release, dated July 1st)[edited]. First
Annual "Dream Rig" Youth Essay Contest -- The Intrepid-DX Group is a U.S.
based 501 C(3) nonprofit organization that promotes Amateur Radio activ-
ities in developing countries.

   Announcing our first annual Youth Essay Contest-Prize is a Dream Rig!

  The Intrepid-DX Group recognizes the importance of including Youth in
our great hobby because they are our future!  We are establishing an
annual Dream Rig Youth Essay Contest to learn the suggestions of young
people for attracting other young operators to Amateur Radio.

  EU-031.  Salvadore, IC8SDL, is active from Capri Island. Activity is

  EU-047.  Markus, DJ4EL, will be active as DJ4EL/p from Juist Island
           between July 10-13th. Activity will be on 40-10 meters using
           SSB with mono-band and multi-vertical antennas. QSL via LoTW
           or his home callsign. ADDED NOTE: Markus plans to activate
           more German islands (which have never been activated) at the
           end of August. Look for more details to be forthcoming.

  EU-081.  Operators Jean/ON5DX, Kürt/ON5DZ, Tim/ON5HC, Pat/ON7PQ and
           Francis/ON8AZ will be active as TM2U from Saint Marcouf Island
           between August 23-28th. Activity will be on 80-6 meters (also
           60m) using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. QSL via ON8AZ. For

  EU-113.  Markus, DJ4EL, will be active as SV8/DJ4EL from Kythira Island
           between July 26-30th. Activity will be on 40-10 meters using SSB
           with quads and vertical antennas. QSL via LoTW or his home
           callsign.

  NA-134.  Bo, OZ1DJJ, will be active as OX3LX from Asiaat Island (WW Loc.
           GP38NQ), Greenland, between July 7-30th (possibly longer due
           to the COVIN-19). Activity will be on 40-4 meters. When not
           active, he will run a WSPR beacon on 160 to 6 meters. He states
           this is NOT a DXpedition, and the best chance to work him will
           be around lunchtime and after dinner (his local time UTC-2),
           also during the weekend, possibly at night/morning. QSL via

           and sometimes eQSL. He may also go to other islands in the

  OC-139.  Grant, VK5GR, on July 5th, updated the following on his VK5KI
           Expedition to Kangaroo Island between July 13-18th [edited]:
             "Preparations are almost complete for the VK5KI mini DXpedition
           to Kangaroo Island. We are on track to depart Monday week (July
           13th) on the Sealink Ferry to the island, part of the South
           Australia State East Centre IOTA group.
             Andrew, VK5AKH, and I are preparing to take two stations,
           the first comprising an Elecraft K3S+KPA500, with the second
           consisting of an Icom IC7600 and SPE 1.5K-LFA (the amplifier
           that didnt make it to Tonga). We will have a HexBeam on 20-10m,
           a dedicated 40m vertical and a multi-band vertical for 160-10m.
             We will be operating SSB, CW and multiple digital modes,
           including FT8. We do not expect to run Fox/Hound mode this
           trip but stay tuned on the clusters as we could switch over
           if we are receiving excessive calls."

  OC-228.  Andy, VK5MAV, will be active as VK5MAV/P from West Island or
           Granite Island, Australia, during the RSGB IOTA Contest (July

  SA-052.  Markus, DJ4EL, will activate two islands in the Suriname
           SA-092 IOTA group in October:
           Houttuyn Island  - as PZ5GE; between October 11-25th; on
                              40-10m using SSB; WW Loc. GJ25kr
           Pagegaaien Island - as PZ5G; between October 16-19th; on
                               80-10m using CW and SSB; WW Loc. GJ15kv
           QSL both operations via LoTW or his home callsign.

JD1, OGASAWARA. Takashi, JH1FFW, will be active as JD1/JH1FFW from Ogasawara
(AS-031) between July 15-19th. Activity will be on 40-6 meters using SSB
and FT8. QSL via JH1FFW, by the Bureau, LoTW and eQSL.

LZ70, BULGARIA. Look for special event station LZ70IPA from Stara Zagorato
be active to celebrate 70th anniversary of International Police Association.
Length of activity is not known. Activity will be on various HF bands. QSL
via ClubLog's OQRS.

OY, FAROE ISLANDS. Operators Torsten/DL4APJ and Udo/DL2AQI will be active
as OY/DL4APJ and OY/DL2AQI, respectively, from the Faroe Islands (EU-018)
between September 15-23rd. Activity will be holiday style on 80-10 meters
using CW, SSB and the Digital modes (RTTY, PSK, FT8). QSL via their home
callsigns, by the DARC Bureau, direct, eQSL or LoTW.

PJ4, BONAIRE. John, K4BAI, will be active as PJ4A from Bonaire (SA-006,
WLOTA LH-1279) during the  IARU HF World Championship (July 11-12th) as a
Single-Op/All-Band/High-Power entry. Operations will be done remotely.
Outside contest he will be active as PJ4/K4BAI. QSL via K4BAI.

PJ4, BONAIRE (Canceled). Rich, M5RIC, who was expected to be active as
PJ4/M5RIC from Bonaire Island (SA-006) between September 22-29th, and
PJ4CC during the CQWW DX RTTY Contest  (September 28-29th), has canceled
his operation. Reason was not provided, but "probably" because of the
COVIN-19 crisis and transportation.

  CB0Z QSL STATUS. The following was posted on July 2nd [edited]: Nando,
  IT9YRE, has sent all direct QSL requests on April 14, 2020, in Europe
  they have been received while in many other countries the envelopes
  will have been blocked due to a Covid-19 emergency issue that no one
  would have expected. He continues to receive many emails especially
  from OM in the United States for information on the status of the QSL
  cards, Nando cannot know where the QSL cards are located, there is no
  tracking. If someone would like to try a second shipment, Nando is
  willing to simply cover the cost of the stamps, considering the amount
  of requests (hundreds) it would not be appropriate to take on the expense.

  Manager for CN8JQ, CN8XP and UK8ICU.

  OLD QSL COLLECTION (Update). Jean Michel, F6AJA, wants to remind every-
  one to visit the Les Nouvelles DX (LNDX) Web page to see more than
  18,000 old QSL cards in several different albums/galleries. This site
  contains:
    - The ten most wanted DXCC entities (2009 to 2018) with more than
      600 QSLs
    - At least one card for each 62 deleted DXCC countries (more than
      2000+ QSLs)
    - Nearest the totality of current prefixes, disappeared now (more

SN87, POLAND. Members of the Mysliborski Klub Lacznosci PZK (SP1PMY) will
be active with the special callsign SN87LOT from Mysliborz between now
and August 31st. Activity is to commemorate 86th anniversary of the flight
over the Atlantic Ocean by two Lithuanian pilots Steponas Darius and Stasys
Girenas. They flew from New York in little airplane "Lituanica" to Kaunas
on July 15th, 1933. Their flight ended with catastrophy in a forest near
the village of Pszczelnik (ca. 6 km from Myslibórz, West Pomeranian Voivode-
ship). There is a monument dedicated to those two brave airmen at the
place where airplane fell. Every year at this monument every year there
takes place celebrations with highest Polish and Lithuanian represent-
atives. Activity will be on various HF bands. QSL via SP1PMY, direct or
by the Bureau.

TK, CORSICA. Max, DL8UW, will be active as TK4VQO from Olmeto, Corsica
(EU-014). Activity is on 160-6 meters using CW and SSB. You can also
find him active everyday on the Medical Assistance Radio (MAR) net on
14332 kHz at 0730z. QSL via his home callsign.

XT2, BURKINA FASO. Max, DK1MAX, will once again be active as XT2MAX from
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, sometime during November/December. Activity is
usually holiday style on all bands using mostly CW and FT8. QSL via EA5GL,
LoTW, eQSL, (no Bureau or SWL reports) and ClubLog. NO PAPER QSLs. Look
for more details to be forthcoming.

YI, IRAQ. A few sources and QRZ.com are reporting that Giorgio, IU5HWS,
who is a sergeant in the Italian Army of the Airborne Brigade, will be
60km from Bagdad between July 30th and November 30th. He hopes to use
the callsign YI/IU5HWS (has not applied for a callsign yet) on 40/20/10
meters. QSL via his home callsign direct. Watch for updates on his QRZ.com
page.

Z6, KOSOVO (Update). A German team will be active as Z66DX from the capital
city of Prystina in Kosovo between October 15-28th. Operators mentioned
are Werner/DJ9KH, Rainer/DL2AMD, Günte/DL2AWG (Co-leader), Peter/DL3APO,
Franz/DL9GFB and Wolf/DM2AUJ (Team Leader). Activity will be on 160/80/
40/30/20/17/15/12/10 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8, with three
IC-7300 stations on the air running 800 watts into 160/80m Verticals,
others Loops Verticals with Spider poles. Suggested frequencies are:
  CW   - 1822.5, 3526, 7026, 10102, 18086, 21026, 24906 and 28026 kHz
  SSB  - 3805, 7095, 14210, 18120, 21275, 24955 and 28465 kHz
  RTTY - 7044, 10145, 14095 and 18105 kHz
  FT8  - 1836, 3569, 7056, 10131, 14091, 18095, 21091, 24911 and 28091 kHz
   * Please listen always to the instructions of the operators!
  QSL via ClubLog's OQRS (direct or Bureau; recommended) or via DL2AWG,
by the Bureau or direct (SAE and cash only - 3 USDs or EURs). LoTW will
be activated 6 months after DXpedition. No eQSL! QSL requests with in-
sufficient return postage will be answered via the Bureau. For more

ZG, GIBRALTAR. During the period of September 4-10th, the Gibraltar
Amateur Radio stations will celebrate "Gibraltar National Week". Gibraltar
celebrates its historic 1967 self-determination referendum every year on
September 10th. To commemorate this event, stations can use the prefix
ZG. Robert, ZB2TT, will be active as ZG2TT during the week in the hours
he is not working. Although, he will not have a special QSL card for
this activity, he will overprint the QSO report labels with ZG2TT and
the log will be uploaded to the M0URX OQRS after the September 10th,
so that you can claim the QSL card. For the prefix hunters, he will also
upload the log to LoTW. QSL via M0URX's OQRS is preferred.
