This week was little better. The immobilizer was removed from my right leg and changed to a hinged brace (a lot smaller and more comfortable). However, still have to use crutches and can not put weight on the right leg. I got to see the knee at the doctor's office and it looks good and healing well. I am learning how to move around more on one leg, but it is still NOT EASY. I am starting to get braver/better going up and down the stairs, but not too often. Each day seems to get better. Thanks to the many well wishers....

Richard Moseson, W2VU, Editorial Director, reports on July 15th: Popular Communications Launches Streamlined Website (Hicksville, NY) -- Popular Communications magazine has launched a new and easier-to-navigate website. The updated site features a clean new look and a streamlined user interface to make it quicker and easier for visitors to find what they are looking for.

Current issue highlights include sample pages in full-color layout to give prospective readers the ability to see what the magazine itself looks like in print. Live links to Internet sites mentioned in upcoming issues' editorial content will help users further explore topics of interest. The site also includes contact information for editors and columnists, direct links to advertisers' websites, other CQ Communi- cations publications and an extensive collection of hobby radio links and radio club information.
