*** SPECIAL NOTE FROM EDITOR (Tedd, KB8NW): My family (wife/OPDX's chief
proof-reader Linda, son Teddy [TJ] and his wife Jessi, daughter Katie
and her husband Kevin and son Lliam and daughter Lilly Grace), and
I (KB8NW) would like to wish all DXers, Contesters and OPDX readers
a very "Happy Holiday, Merry Christmas, Season's Greetings and Happy
New Year". Thanks to the many individuals who have provided DX infor-
mation over the past year. Without you there would not be an OPDX
Bulletin. Also, thanks to the many individuals who sent holiday
wishes to my family and me......
73 and Have a Great Holiday de Tedd KB8NW
P.S. Generally, this is the time of the year (Christmas/New Year
holiday season) where the DX information reaches a low. So over the
next two weeks there "may" not be a bulletin (especially on December
27th) or possibly a small content bulletin. During this time, I plan
to spend my time with my daughter's family. However, I will send out
any special announcements/bulletins. PLEASE keep sending your DX
    information to me.
You never know what I may do....
Thanks and 73 de Tedd KB8NW

IRC REMINDER!! John, K4BAI, reminds everyone: "In case any of you have
any current style IRCs that you have received, the current IRCs expire
on December 31, 2021. You can find the expiration date on the reverse
side. The United States Post Office no longer sells IRCs, but must
redeem them for one stamp good for air mail postage to overseas countries.
I found that I had received seven of them, mostly from Japan, and
successfully traded them at my local post office for seven overseas air
mail stamps. After December 31st, they will have expired and will have
no value except a small value to a postage stamp/postal coupon collector.
You may get some static from your local post office branch, but you
should insist that they comply with their postal regulations, which are,
in turn, part of their agreement with the International Postal Union."
