*** SPECIAL NOTE FROM EDITOR (Tedd, KB8NW): I hope everyone has a "Happy
New Year". This is just reminder that this is a "holiday small content
bulletin" (ed. well almost) this week and I am still visiting my
daughter's family in Tennessee. Hopefully, things will get back to
normal once I return home. I hope everyone had a great holiday season.
Thanks and for understanding....73 de Tedd KB8NW

and rare DX heard on the bands), QSL Card Museum, Dayton Photo Galleries

3Y0J BOUVET ISLAND DXPEDITION NEWS. The following was posted on the 3Y0J
FaceBook page by Ken, LA7GIA, on December 30th, with 4 pictures [edited]:
We're full speed ahead with planning and testing - these are busy days!
Yesterday the team spent 12h in the field/lab/shack in Oslo to prepare
and test the radios for the Bouvet trip. We tested a various number of
antennas and configurations to compare the different radios in a multi-
station environment to see the response from each radio and how they
behave. The field day in -12C/10F also gave us some fresh air during
installation of the (temporary) test antennas. We will continue the
testing. https://www.facebook.com/groups/3093983840726129

4L9, GEORGIA. Markus, DL8RDS, is now active as 4L9MH from Tbilisi until
January 8th. Activity will be holiday style on 20/15/10 meters using
mostly CW with a vertical antenna. QSL via his home callsign.

9N, NEPAL (Update). Robert, 9N7AA/S53R, has posted the following update
on QRZ.com, December 30th, 2021: The Ultra Beam / WIMO 2el Yagi (40-6m)
is now installed on top of the new residence and it "sits" at around 23m,
with a clear shot in all directions. It is currently fixed to EU and east
coast USA, with an instant 180° switch, still waiting for the rotor to
arrive.
Finally, some good news - knock on wood! - on my shipment from T6. It
seems that 9 boxes with all kinds of radio gear will be leaving Kabul
this week, and - knock on wood again! - the station and shack should be
set up fully by mid-January. Have also made some arrangements with my
neighbors for 80/160 sloper installation. Hope to be able to activate
low bands sometime in February, after returning from short holidays in
S5.
For those constantly asking - 60m band is not permitted in Nepal.
QSL via S57DX, direct only, and of course, LoTW and ClubLog will be
updated at least once a week. OQRS will also be enabled soon.

  9N1DX QSL STATUS. Charles, M0OXO, reports (https://www.m0oxo.com/):
Finally some good news! -- Over the past few days I have manually
entered over 1100 new QSOs into the 9N1DX Logbook at M0OXO OQRS, (link
below). The Log contains the 6m QSOs made before she went QRT. This
upload now completes her full logbook which I have been trying to
obtain for the last 6 months.
I do not have any documentation from 9N1DX, nor do I have her written
permission which would allow ARRL to supply me with an LOTW certificate.
As, if, or when this situation changes, of course I will inform you but
for the time being there is no LOTW available. QSL Cards are available
  on the link below.
Anyone who still has a Missing QSO inquiry after searching the new
log should make a new report on M0OXO OQRS by hitting the on-line 'Not
In Log' Form (find it below the Log Search box).
    Happy New Year!
