3A, MONACO. Kasimir, DL2SBY, will be active as 3A/DL2SBY from Monaco
between October 20-23rd. He informs OPDX that Monaco allows only the
use of 100 watts, and he will be using mobile antennas for 30/20/17/12/10
meters (possibly 6m). Activity will mainly be FT8, but he may also do CW
too. QSL via ClubLog, direct or LoTW (He will upload to LoTW after his
trip). NO QSLs via the Bureau.

4W, TIMOR-LESTE (Reminder/Update/IOTA/POTA Op). Alan, VK1AO (VK2MET), is
now active as 4W/VK1AO from Dili, Timor-Leste, until August 4th. He is
there visiting family and plans to activate IOTAs OC-148 (Timor Island)
and OC-232 (Atauro Island) along with the following POTAs:
* Areia Branca Cristo Rei National Reserve -- https://pota.app/#/park/4W-0001
* Behau Marine Protected Area -- https://pota.app/#/park/4W-0004
* Lagoa Tasitolu Marine Protected Area -- https://pota.app/#/park/4W-0003
Activity will be on 40/30/20/17/15/12 meters using CW, SSB, JS8 and
FT8. QSL via eQSL, ClubLog or LoTW. Alan states on QRZ.com that he will
be visiting Timor-Leste a few times over the next 3 years and will be
activating parks for the POTA.

5W, SAMOA. Operators Pista/HA5AO, George/HA5UK and Paul W7IV will be
active as 5W0DX from Savai'i Island (OC-097), Samoa, sometime in February
of 2023. Activity will be on 80-10 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and FT8,
using three stations with vertical antennas on the salt water edge. A log
search and OQRS will be available at:
                https://www.ha5ao.com/oqrs/logsearch.php
LoTW will be uploaded some months after the operation. More information
and QSL info can be found at:
  https://www.ha5ao.com/index.php/dxpeditions/5w0dx-samoa-2023/5w0dx-samoa-2023

8H77, INDONESIA (Special Event). Members of the ORARI Jawa Barat will
be active with the special callsign 8H77I from Java Island (OC-021),
Indonesia, to commemorate 77th anniversary of Indonesia. Activity will
be on various HF and VHF bands.

D2, ANGOLA (EME Op). Bernie, ZS4TX, continues to be active as D2UY on
17/15/10 meters FT8 this past week. However, he announced this past week
that a 2M EME DXpedition to Angola (WW Loc. JH85) is planned for August
12-16th, 2022. He reports on QRZ.com his equipment for 2M: 2x2M18XXX,
IC-9700. He states on QRZ.com [edited], "I am trying my best to sort out
the logistics for 6M and 70CM as well. If any other band becomes a cer-
tainty I will post it here (QRZ.com) immediately. Please hold back any
6M/70CM specific contributions until I confirm the additional activity.
As of July 20th, only 2M EME will be activated. If you wish to make a
contribution please use Paypal: bernie((at))mafrica.co.za
Remember to include your callsign in the "Notes"section. The expedition
includes a 10 day ~6000km road trip crossing the Namibia, Botswana and
Angola borders. As far as can be determined, this will be the first time
that D2 is active on 2M EME or EME on any band. From 7P8Z I was able to
work single yagi stations running ~500W with the same antenna system. I
will also be on HF [CW] 40M and up. 100W only." Direct QSLs for D2TX can
be requested from Lins, PA3CMC. Contributors and sponsors will receive
quick LoTW confirmation as well as a paper QSL.
